Alrighty, Red has been home for a week and it's been so nice, because he hasn't had much real time off since January. We started this little remodel project way back in the first part of January. We wanted to make a nursery out of the bigger bedrom upstairs. I took these pictures tonight after we got most of the room put together. Now keep in mind there are still some things missing, toys, decorations, and all the little knick-knacks that find there way to flat surfaces in any room.
I'm not sure about this picture, but if you look close you can tell what's going on. I already put my baby to bed so I'm not about to try for another picture. This is Rowdy's side of the bedroom.
This as baby #2's side of the bedroom.
Red replaced all of the trim, the doors, lights, outlets, ceilings and the door frames. Pretty much everything in this room has been replaced.
I think he did a great job! He's always been handy and he's done small projects before, but never an entire room from top to bottom. I'm so proud of him for all the time he took and his attention to detail.
I think it looks great. Now I just need to figure out where to put up the wall decor that I've got. I also need t wash all of baby #2's lothing and get it organized and rearrange the dresser's. And let me not forget the big project f the closet.
Let me know what you think. And if you have any good tips for organizing this room throw them my way.
P.S. This is how we plan on remodeling the rest of the house. Not blue walls, bt the doors, closets, moulding, ceilings, and window treatments. I can't wait! I seriously need to win the lottery.
