The snow was crazy deep by the porch.
I wasn't much help, but I
did smile for the camera....
When all was said and done Cowboy and his manly pooch came inside where it was nice and warm to watch the birds. They weren't even posing for this picture but I snuck up on them just like the indian that I am.
We are lucky enough to live just a couple miles away from one of the nations largest bird refuges, and we have a million trees all around us. We get to see all sorts of birds, this is a regular past time for us. Who new we would ever take up bird watching.

I think snow is pretty and all...but honestly I hate it :) Lucky for you, that man of yours can shovel it away. Unlucky for us, we are stuck doing it ourself

Bird watching huh? The Rookie made me go to the bird refuge this fall...BORING! Maybe if it was a better season it may have been cooler? Doubt it though.
I love shoveling snow. I wish that dh was the one inside watching squishy while I was out shoveling snow.

Lucky for me we don't get snow very often and when we do it is not enough to shovel. It has been a very mild winter for us down here. I think that it has stayed in the 60's most of the time. However, tonight it might (just might) ice or snow.
In case you wanted my opinion...I am BLOODY sick of BLOODY snow.
Hope life is good. And--don't listen to Alice--the bird refuge was NOT that bad. We even saw a gigantic Great Blue Heron!
