This is my kid brother and Cowboy. My kid brother was nice enough to give up his Saturday and help us out. Isn't he cute?

We have to gather up all the loose wood, and with as many trees as we have believe me there is a lot of loose wood to burn.
There is already a place to burn, it's like a big hole on the corner of the field and the ditch, i guess it's where they meet.
Anyways it can turn into quite a job, someone has to man the hose in case the fire jumps the fire line. Cowboy burns all of the edges of that big hole I was telling you about, we don't want to light the ditch on fire just the part we are trying to burn.
We had enough waste and wood and stuff (I say stuff because that what it was, nothing with a proper title...Stuff) we started in the morning and the boys fed the fire until the evening.

I even took a moment to put down my camera and pick up the hose and do water duty for a bit, Believe it or not I am productive once in a while! That's my proof.
I know I started out with this picture but I love it, so I put it up again. They are just both so cute!

That is so fun! Did they come in stinking like smoke? AAAH, the smell of sweaty, smokey men. YUM!
I could have had a lot of fun throwing "stuff" in with you. Was that a table you threw in there? I think next year, you should put out a flier and charge admission to burn other people's "stuff" - might as well make a few bucks while you're at it! HEHE.

I can't believe the "treasure" that mom found in that pile though. People are dumb to throw that kind of stuff away!
