Summer 2009

My kid brother got his LDS mission call to the Tacloban Phillipines Mission. We are super excited for him, it wasn't Boise.

My mom had been planning a hoorah for all of us to be tgether this summer, and it just so happened we went to the Manti Pageant in Manti Utah of all places. My hubsters mom and stepdad have a cabin down there. So, wouldn't you know it. 11 adults, 2 kids, 3 toddlers, and 1 infant piled into one house for roughly 4 days.

I quite frankly enjoyed myself. Have I mentioned I love my family.

We were full blown tourists. Rowdy and Red, Rowdy's not so sure of the scenery.

I think Rowdy was a little bit scared of the scenery.

Maybe terrified.

This was pretty much his attitude for the entire rest of the pageant. We walked several blocks in Manti during the show. It's a beautiful little town. Maybe next time I'll see less of it and more of the show.

This was the weather, and the reason we walked in the rain. Hey, at least it wasn't hot.

This was the scenery before the pageant started. It was very pretty.

This is my mom, she's married to my dad, she's my sibling mom too. But I'm her favorite. Don't tell my siblings cause I'm pretty sure they think they are her favorite, and I'm all about keepin' the peace.

This is my baby Colt, I call him Dewey for short. You can too.

He takes after his aunt Heidi when it comes to getting his picture taken. They see that lens and their tongue sticks right on out.

This was the tub, It was bathtime, and since my mom raised my sisters and I to be efficient, we decided 3 naked toddlers were better than one. Rwdy wasn't feeling the efficiency.

My mom didn't raise him, But she's welcome to as long as she stresses the efficiency.

3 toddlers make for awfully dirty bath water, don't ya think?

And they all have perfectly polished farmers tans.

In our continued effort to be perfect parents, we found a mosquito and put it on our babies eye, we just wanted to see what he'd do.

Turns out he swolled right up, but didn't pop.

This is my kid brother, he was supposed to be cooking a mean lunch with the manfolk in the family

These are the manfolk in my family, minus my kid brother, they are cooking a mean lunch for all of the women folk and babies. They were moaning and whining...eeerrrr grunting and flexing. It was a bonding experience.

This was the mean lunch. It took approximately 45 minutes from atart to finish. It was delish!!!

Coming up next....The way my family entertains ourselves on vacation.

Bubbles and Bathtime.

This is my baby, I birthed him. Some days he loves me.

Some days I let him be cool and big and let him blow his own bubbles.

It those days I think he loves me the most.

These are both my bbabies. I birthed them both, not at the same time though. Perhahps that might have been more convenient.

They've started doing bathtime together. It's easier for mom. We're all about easy in this house.

I just love those babies that I birthed.

Visitors.

The other day I had a knock on my door. You might remember way back when Tally had a litter of puppies.

Well we had a visitor, I made her take a picture with her mommy, she was the "big bertha" of the group.

Aside from her cloring, she looked the most similar to her mommy than any of her sisters. Her name is Zoee.

Did somebody mention her sisters? Oh yeah oddly enough they visited at the same time. Imagine that coincidence.

WHat is black and white and cute all over?

A Tally and her babies. Sadie and Izzy

Sadie just happened to visit with Red's little big sister wh is my favorite. She and I have a connection. I love her, I'd have her live with me if she would, but her hub-a-roo, and daughter would miss her. She's great, and she's my favorite did I mention that?

T-Bone also visited. He's a humper. He tried to hump every girl dog here, but I stood up t T-Bone's attitude and I threw a pillow at him when he'd try to hump my girls. He's fixed but it's still so wrong. He was visiting with Red's Grandparents. They came for Colt's baby blessing.

Visiting at the same time was Red's Dad, he hasn't been here before, he came for Colt's baby blessing to. And he was great, super helpful with the kids. They were so happy to have Papa Larry because he was patient when mom and Dad weren't.

Sadie had a great trip and a great adventure. She ran away in Hooper for three days. THREE DAYS! Did I mention she flew here from California? Well she did and about gave Red's little big sister a panic attack. I guess you could say she is a shit of a shitzu. She ended up goign back to California with Red's little big sister though. All is well with her.

Rowdy loves his aunt, and her wants her back just as badly as I do!

He loves me....He loves me not

He LOVES me!

And this is just one of the many ways he shows me.

Colt's baby blessing and our family pictures

Aaron gave Colt his name and blessing on June 7th. It was beautiful, he had such a beautiful blessing. The spirit was very strong, and I have learned so much through my trials with this baby. The Lord has been so good to me. And I have grown closer to him. This baby has been my little missionary in more ways than he'll ever know.
(I'm not yet ready to talk abut my trials on this blog, however those closest to me know what I'm referring to)

Once again my mom came through and made Colt the most precious blessing suit.

She is an amazing seamstress, all she had to do was look at Red's suit and make a pattern from that. I hope to one day learn as much about making patterns and sewing ans her.

I made the tie. It matches Red's. I really like to be non-traditional and not do a white suit.

I don't think Colt has a preference either way, I think he's just happy to have had the attention on him for the whole day. I've just gotta say he's so sweet.

Between my mom and I (mostly mom) we sure know hw to do this boy up cute.

Me and my boys, it's still weird saying boys with an S.

The hubster and Colt in their matching suits and ties. So sweet

Nothing more sexy to me than seeing the hubster and his boys. My three main men.

And wouldn't you know it. I'm lucky enough to be the leading lady

Our family is a little crazy with two babies, but It so worth it and I wouldn't trade any of them for the world.

Obsessions

Not anything to do with the show on A&E.

My baby has a few new obsessions. He loves doing what the grown ups are doing even if he's just in the way.

We are doing a few makeovers to our yards since they weren't in the best of shape when we moved in. We had these bricks that I wanted out of here and my parents decided they'd make a nice patio up at their property. My dad, my hub-a-roni and Rowdy helped get the brick in the back of his truck.

Can't you see how much help he is.

The ther obsession is balls, now get your mind out of the gutter. He literally is quite obsessed and his mind only has one cncern in the world when there is any kind of ball, whether it be a bouncy ball, soccer ball, baseball, tennis ball yu get the idea.

He squats down and throws the ball, he even tries to fake you out. He'll yell "Tatch!"

Oh how I would love to be inside his mind some days
