"Danger"

It should have been his middle name. If I'd have had my way it would have been his middle name.

There are more sons to be had, and I'll have my way some day.

Our Independance Day Celebration (a bit delayed)

Sorry I know this is late and long past due, but thats the way I roll. Our town has a 4th of July celebration, and We decided to participate in the events. We went to the pancake breakfast at the park. Cowboys mom, step dad and brother Jason and sister Keri went with us. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, nut the company was good.

This is Keri. She is retarded, she is almost thirty and she loves my dogs and my baby. I love her. my dogs love her too. She spent most of the morning outside, and she loved it. the horses in the parade made her laugh and giggle. She has a real connection with animals.

After the breakfast we visited with lots of people. I tried to get some pictures of some really kick-ass mullets, but the mullet men kept wandering and I didn't want to be obvious.

Rowdy was just there for the food.

This is one of my young women we ran into at the breakfast, her name is Jessica, her sister was a rodeo "Junior Miss," in the parade. Jessica's dream is to become "Miss Rodeo America" I hope she reaches her dream.

I love my baby and he was such a sport all day long.

You gotta love a small town parade, anything goes...if you want to tie cans to you bike and ride in the parade then you can tie cans to your bike and ride in the parade. The weather wasn't to bad, but the entries in the parade were just unique to our town.

This was one of my favorite entries, this man was on a buffalo in a trailer with out any signs or any clue as to why he was riding a buffalo in the parade.

Alright another favorite entry. "Yesterdays Meals On Wheels" Thats when you know there's just a bit of redneck in you when you see that in the 4th of July Celebration, and you get excited to take a picture.

Area 51. Anything goes!

We invited Cowboy's mom and step dad for dinner. Cowboy grilled some tasty ribeyes and if you know how tasty cowboys food is then you know these were a bit spectacular!

I came up with this little creation and I think I will turn it into a tradition.

After the heat of the day and our yummy dinner was all done and ove with we headed to the local park, to snag a spot for the fireworks. Where I live, you can get there about twenty minutes before they start and get a great spot. There's just not to many people round these parts. The sunsets out here are gorgeous. I love them.

When Cowboy and I got to the park, we snagged ourselves a spot. I love seeing my man with my baby. He stayed a watched him while I wandered around and watched the atv-polo-derby. Now thats a crazy sport. There are two rider on each atv, a driver and a rider. The rider has a balloon taped to his helmet and a nerf bat, the object is to pop the balloon on all the other riders helmets. There's a lot of mud, and a lot of injuries, it's a tradition and it's great entertainment!

When we went to the fireworks, we went with a boy in boys clothing.

We had a bit of a baby-barf-o-rama and we came home with a boy in his cousin Sophie's jammies.

The fireworks were great and it was a pretty long show. Best of all the Mosquito abatement came out a sprayed and we didn't get one mosquito bite!! How rare.

My sisters and her family came and they were great company! Afterwards we went back to our place and did our own firework show.

Girls Camp!!!

Some of my best summer memories are of girls camp!! Loved it as a young woman, and now I get to be the leader. Yay! I absolutely love the girls in the ward. So fun...

Anyways, I'll get to business. The girls had a fashion show with paper bags and anything from nature and a few feet of twine. Pretty creative don't you think?

We pampered the girls with egg white, and oatmeal facials, and I got the best blackmail pictures ever!! Looks like I will have babysitters at my beck and call!

We went on the most beautiful hike, we could see all of the neighboring town, and all of the valley. We had some real testimony building experiences on top of the mountain.

Have I mentioned that I love to hike? Oh, I love to hike!

Cowboy and Rowdy came along for the fun. Aunt Patsy lives just a ways away from where camp was at. She watched Rowdy, and she saved my bacon!! With him, I would have never made it to enjoy this beautiful view.

What are your favorite emeoies from Young Womens Camp? Do share.

Buckaroo Got A Few Long Distance Visitors

Cowboys grandparents came from the great state of Washington this summer, they stayed the night at our house and got to meet their newest little great grandson. It was so much fun having them for a visit!

They brought their dog T-BONE. He got to play with our pups, and experience rural life for a minute.

Cowboy was really glad it worked out, he didn't have to work and he was able to visit for a while.

He is always so amazed when he sees his grandparents, he thinks they are shrinking more and more. See our little punk! He was not on his best behavior.
