Who does he look like?

WARNING: This could quite possibly be offensive, viewer discretion is advised

I had a recent conversation with my mom and she said if I posted this people could/would/should think I am cruel and totally unusual to poke fun of my baby like I do.

Here is my disclaimer within a matter of just about 20 days my Lil' Buckaroo has chunked up 2 pounds, this is no big deal normally, but when your only 23 inches long it makes a big difference. His weight has gone to his cheeks and they are so much fun to kiss! Anyways, back to the matter he is also losing his hair in a male-pattern-baldness sort of a fashion. It is still growing and present on the sides and in the back. However, on the top it is disappearing faster than the glaciers from global warming.

Take a look, here is the man of the hour, you can kinda see his male pattern baldness and his cheeks are pretty puffy in this picture.

Now, answer me this. WHo does he resemble more?

Could it be Spencer W. Kimball (My mom's suggestion, she is way sweeter than me, I came up with the next ones all on my own)

Yoda, the Jedi Master

Or this sweet puppy that I will bring home to Cowboy when he least expects it and we can have a lassie repeat all over again(Long story I'll fill you all in someday).

Please do tell me your thoughts.....AM I a horrible mother, will I go to hell for my disturbing thoughts, who does my baby look like?

Up, Up, & Away!!

The last time Cowboy and I burned, it was such a nice day. In the field across the street we got quite a show, so I grabbed my camera because I'm quite good at grabbing my camera and I snapped some pictures....so you can experience a small moment in our lives with us.

This guy showed up, he shows up occasionally, and when he does he always gets an audience, first there's Cowboy and I, and some little dude from down the road who rides his little motorcycle up the road to watch the show.

Look close, he has out his parachute.

Then, this lady and her horse rode by, she was nice enough to smile for my picture.

Alrighty, he's getting ready for take off! Now he is in his flying machine.

While his engine is revving up, I took a picture of these two pooches. They love to get their pictures taken. Just look how ugly the burned ditch is!! I promise in about two weeks it will look nice, refreshed and green.

Ready!!

Set!!!

GO!!!

How lucky!! Maybe one day I can convince him to take me along!

With the wind in his hair I'll bet he's got quite a rush of adrenaline right about now!

Thanks for stopping by!

Buckaroo's Blessing Day

On April 13th we blessed lil' Buckaroo. Cowboy did a great job. We had a family party at our house when it was done, I love family parties, and I love potlucks even better. It was such a nice day all around. we made pulled pork, and thanks to Paula Dean it turned out perfect (I've never made pulled pork, I was scared to death)

I love this picture.

Look closely, Buckaroo and Cowboy match each other to the T!

My beautiful mom made the cutest most perfect suit for Buckaroo, and I'm not kiddin' its an exact replica! I'm sure it was a pain to sew because it's so small, but it turned out perfect. I love it. Cowboy's sweet Aunt Patsy made Buckaroo's tie out of a tie that matched Cowboys. She scaled it down to size from an adult tie. It looks so cute with his little white shirt! I'm not so traditional, I really wanted to do something for Buckaroo's blessing that isn't run-of-the-mill, and this little bitty suit was was it! (don't tell anyone, but I have had this in my head since before I ever even met Cowboy!......I know, I'm weird)

I love our little family, we aren't perfect not a single one of us, but we are perfect for each other.

I love seeing my man with my baby, there's just something about them that so tender to me.

HEHEHEHEHE! I think this picture is so funny, Buckaroo looks like a little
high-council-man, he comes complete with that tired look (like he's trying not to fall asleep during sacrament meeting), and his hair is thicker on the sides than the top, and he's also receding!

This picture needs no explanation.

Thanks Mom!! Thanks Aunt Patsy!! You both rock, and I love you to bits!

This Is For My Mom & Blackeyedsue, But You Can Read This Too!

So my mother-in-law has this really tasty soup recipe, and I got it from her because my mom and sister wanted to make it, and I can make it too. I'm not very good at making soup, but this one turned out alright for me. I told my mom and sue that I would post it because you see, I am really terrible at email, and like it would be totally way to easy to oh, you know, make a copy. So here it is.

Italian Soup
1lb Italian Sausage (mild)
1c chopped onions
2cloves chopped garlic
Simmer 30 minutes

then add:
6c water
5 beef bullion cubes
2c tomatoes (canned)
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1c carrots sliced
1 1/2c chopped zucchini
1/4c green pepper
1/2tsp oregano
1/2tsp sweet basil
1Tbs parsley
8oz. cheese tortellini ( the kind you find in the cheese section at the grocery store)
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes

Shout Out!

I am going to give a shout out today for one of my favorite things, I love this so much! it has come in handy around the house and it's one of the better purchases I have made. My friend Kellie recommended it to me when I was pregnant. Great suggestion Kellie! Thanks! This sling is from www.lucky-baby.com Lil' Buckaroo loves it, it snuggles him right up, and he loves being snuggled. It also distributes the weight of the baby across your body evenly and is very comfortable to wear.

They have lots of great patterns and if your husband is more metro-sexual than mine you might be able to get away with one of those. Don't get me wrong I love this pattern.

If you are pregnant or know someone who is I strongly recommend this investment. It would make a great gift, and they hold your little one till they are 18 months. So you can get a lot of use out of them.

Buckaroo is 2 Months

I can hardly believe it!! This snuggly baby is already two months! Alrighty, he was technically two months on Monday, but who's counting days?

He has become so alert and bright eyed. He goes cross-eyed trying to focus on things. He is so sweet!

He is still in newborn diapers, he has been in 0-3 month clothes for about two weeks, he still fits in newborn onesies though. He is so cuddly and loves being held. He will eat whatever you give to him whether it be formula, water, the boob whatever, he has hollow little legs! He liked hid bath water to be on the hotter side of warm. and he hates getting all lotioned and powdered up afterwards. Reminds me of his Dad.

He's so funny when he is awake and alert, he just watches and observes, and he sticks his little tongue out over and over.

He's so sweet, and I love having him in our little family. He lights up our days and calms us at night. He is so perfect for us. I love him more ad more every day.

Quack! Quack!

Here's another one about the other day, I went outside to get the mail, I looked in the irrigation ditch that's surrounds our property and to my surprise...

I saw these ducks!! I ran inside and grabbed my camers and ran back out to snap a couple of pictures.

They must have gotten sick of me snapping there photos. It was a total paparazzi moment and they were in quite a hurry to get the heck outta dodge!

Good Morning!

On Sunday morning I was laying in bed, and I kept hearing this tapping thud noise, it sounded like there was someone in the kitchen. I told Cowboy, he listened for a minute, rolled over and went back to sleep. So I got up and went into the kitchen and this is what I saw!

Over and over and over and over and over again.

Does anyone know if birds can get brain damage? This poor bird flew into my window at least 40 times, I left after I counted that many.
